Over my career I have had many varied positions from young surveyor to CEO of a small family office in charge of supplying 10,000 affordable homes to London’s 33 local authorities. This involved raising serious funding from the private sector from banks and other financial institutions.
I have been members of Boards in the private and public sectors and have worked closely with local authorities in supplying them affordable housing and also submitting planning applications for small and large developments. The last several years, I have been the lead consultant on two new build projects in Fulham and Enfield making substantial returns for the investor.
Why do I want to be a councillor for Purley and Woodcote Ward? I have lived in Purley for 20-years and seen the slow decline in the high street, which needs addressing quickly. Law and order have fundamentally broken down and people’s faith in the judicial system and policing is at an all-time low. No one ever sees a bobbie on the beat anymore yet when there’s an accident on the motorway police appear from nowhere in abundance. I want to be able to contribute and be involved in decisions about the locality, representing the ward 24/7, 7-days per week, developing and reviewing council policy, and scrutinising decision’s taken by others at the council.
I am a passionate about my local community, and know that as part of the Reform Team, I can make a valued contribution to my community.
